Allies
Kouga
The leader of the western wolf demon tribe... aka, Ginta and Hakkaku's pack leader. Tends to be a little bit of an idiot, not to mention somewhat oblivious to the obvious. He claims Kagome as "his woman". They are extremely loyal to him and follow him wherever he goes. They usually notice how dense Kouga can be, but if they point out something he's forgotten, they often get whacked for it.
Inuyasha
A half dog demon, the title character, and Kouga's self-proclaimed ultimate rival. Whereas Kouga doesn't like Inuyasha at all (he calls him "inu-koro", which generally translates to "dog crap"), Ginta and Hakkaku don't mind him all that much. Maybe it's because he acts so much like Kouga, as both of them have hot tempers and are stubborn to no end.
Higurashi Kagome
A girl from modern times who came to the Japanese warring states era through an ancient well in her family shrine. Ginta and Hakkaku like her and interact with her more than the rest of that group, tending to call her "Kagome-neesan" or just "nee-san". This started because of Kouga claiming her as his woman, but later, it seems to be more that they just think pretty highly of her.
Miroku
The rather unmonk-like monk, a pervert and a lech, with an air void (called "Kazaana") in his right hand. Ginta and Hakkaku don't really interact with him much, only to maybe glance in his direction.
Sango
A taija-ya (youkai exterminator). She can be fairly unfeminine, but worries about her friends. She has a demon cat named Kirara. Once again, the boys don't really interact with her a lot. She travels with Kagome... that's probably about the most they know about her.
Shippou
The little orphaned kitsune (fox demon). Hyper and easily riled up, he is very close to Kagome. He interacts a bit with the wolf demons, first as a possible snack, and then later, he occasionally yells at Kouga. Ginta and Hakkaku don't mind him. They do talk to him a few times.
Kirara
Sango's two-tailed cat demon. Little interaction, little mind. It's not like Kirara can talk anyway.
Ayame (ANIME ONLY)
A wolf demon from the northern tribe. She is much younger than Kouga, Ginta, and Hakkaku. Kouga promised to take her as his wife, but he does not remember it (or at least, he says he doesn't). The two like her fairly well, even though it confuses them greatly as to when she brings up the engagement. After all... they thought Kouga wanted Kagome.
