On a brief introduction, I'm better known around the net as ChibiJaime... writer and artist. I'm 20 going on 21 in a couple of months. I'm bisexual, considered "the Psychohippy", and take pride in my standing as a woman of very high standards. I like cute, and I like bishounen, and most importantly...
I'm well-known amongst my peers as adoring secondary characters. Kouga and Jakotsu (Inuyasha), Zero (Rockman X), Tot (Weiß Kreuz), Wolfwood (Trigun), Nuriko (Fushigi Yuugi), Yuki and Honou (Mosquiton), etc, etc. So it comes as no surprise that I was enamoured with Ginta and Hakkaku when I saw them.
Honestly, as much as I like Kouga, you'd think I'd make a shrine to him. But to be serious, Kouga has enough shrines. Someone needs to give some love to the lackeys.
My friend, Kaycee Ronin, got me into Inuyasha two years ago, just after I came to this tiny college in the middle of nowhere. Back then, most people hadn't heard of it. It wasn't even on Cartoon Network yet. At first, Miroku held a special place in my heart, simply because I tend to adore these angsty characters... and I tend to like the corrupt priests.
Then, lo and behold, there's Kouga. He was so much like Ryoga I couldn't resist. And along with him, came his laughably loyal but comically cowardly lackeys... Ginta and Hakkaku.
And thus, after reentering my liking of this series not long ago (I still don't watch IY on Cartoon Network... I always feel weird doing that), I found myself with a new character to like and, most importantly, two new side-characters to give some affection.
There are few to no screenshots of Ginta and Hakkaku online, and so, I took the liberties of taking my own. And so, "Left Behind" was born. For those of you who may not get the pun in my title, it's rather simple. Ginta and Hakkaku are always being left behind by Kouga. What better title to a page to these poor boys whose only purpose in life seems to be to chase after Kouga than one that explains what they do?
And so, in the end, I do hope you enjoy my little IY-dedicated corner of the web. Even if you don't know who the hell these silly boys are, I hope you can enjoy it, and I hope it proves at least a little bit informative overall. Enjoy!
