Vash
The Stampede is an outlaw wanted by just about everyone. Vash
is also known as the Humanoid Typhoon, and there's a $$60,000,000,000
bounty on his head. Oddly enough, nobody really knows what
he looks like. Every description of Vash is warped in some
way. Even the insurance ladies named, Meryl and Millie don't
know what he really looks like and they're some of many who are
after Vash.
Along
the way, we are introduced to potential love interests, many gangs,
a devoted love, a wandering priest and a twisted twin. The
action is plenty, the comedy is all around and the series gets
dramatic when it needs to. Nicholas D. Wolfwood is also a
character who I think is amazing. The wandering priest is
not really what he looks like. Personally, I don't think this
series would have been as enjoyable without him. Trigun
is quite the rollercoaster of emotions and its quite an enjoyable
one. It's satisfying to watch a series go places the viewer
doesn't expect.
Trigun
can only achieve this because Vash The Stampede is a down to Earth
character that in the end only cares about doing the right
thing. He strongly believes that one is not to judge others.
It is this same way of thinking that can turn a dramatic episode
into a silly one. Visually, Trigun is choppy at times,
but it's only something that perfectionists, (or fanatics), look
at. The show is consistent for the most part and it's
a pleasure to watch.
