History

Lance Alvers eighteen years old has been put through all sorts of foster homes. Professor Xavier found him by Cerebro. Xavier was going to recruit him but found Kitty more important to be recruited. Lance found Kitty was like him and quickly was attracted to her. Jean Grey soon spoiled his romantic plans with Kitty by recruiting Kitty. Lance soon out of anger because Kitty ran to Xavier and left him brought the school down. He soon was recruited by Mystique and joined  the Brotherhood. Avalanche then was born.

Lance cares deeply about Kitty because he even risked his life to save  her in Growing Pains.

He also wanted Kitty to leave so she wouldn't get hurt in Hex Factor.

He even joined the X-Men to be near her in Joyride.
