Taichi Yagami
Partner: Agumon
Taichi is kind of the unofficial leader of the group (signified in each season by whoever wears goggles on his head). He's a very passionate individual, and sometimes a little reckless, often sticking his head out in harm's way without thinking.
Yamato Ishida
Partner: Gabumon
Yamato is kind of a loner, which is understandable since he's lived alone with his dad for many years. This sometimes leads to a 'my way or the highway' attitude, though, which leads to several conflicts with Taichi, some of which turn potentially ugly.
Sora Takenouchi
Partner: Piyomon
Sora is unsure about her role in the digital world, but she feels an overwhelming responisbility to do her part well. Her mature attitiude often causes her to be seen as a kind of 'big sister' to the others.
Mimi Tachikawa
Partner: Palmon
Mimi has lived a somewhat sheltered life with her doting parents. As a result, she isn't used to handling herself in a strange new world. She has a kind and gentle heart, though, and will do what she can to stop those who harm others.
Koushiro Izumi
Partner: Tentomon
Curiosity is Koushiro's middle name. He is fascinated by the new world he's found himself in, and often goes out of the way to learn as much as possible about it. With Tentomon and his trusty laptop at his side, Koushiro embarks on an everlasting quest for knowledge.
Jou Kido
Partner: Gomamon
Jou has never been an adventurer. So when he find himself in a new world, he is almost scared out of his mind. He has a great sense of responsibility for the others, though, and more often than not, its his loyalty to his friends that shines through in the end.
Takeru Takashi
Partner: Patamon
Takeru is Yamato's younger brother, but they haven't seen each other in a while after their parents split up several years ago. While Yamato tries to keep his brother safe, Takeru is anxious to show that he can be as strong as any of the others.
Hikari Yagami
Partner: Tailmon
Hikari is Taichi's baby sister. She was sick on the day the others went to camp, so she didn't get to go to the digital world for quite a while. When Tailmon joins her, though, she becomes a valuable addition despite her young age.
