Digimon Battle Spirit: Moves

Guilmon
Evolves to: Dukemon
Guilmon is an all-around average player. Nothing stands out as being bad about him, but he has nothing really fantastic either. However, he does have a nice balance of long and short-ranged attacks both as Guilmon and Dukemon, so he's a good coice for beginners.

Up + B: Giant Bazooka – Launches a missile straight ahead.
Up + B (in midair): Galgo Uppercut – Rising punch.

Renamon
Evolves to: Sakuyamon
Renamon is a tad disappointing. As badass as she is in the anime, she’s barely average at best in this game. Her short-ranged punches and kicks are hardly impressive, and her only long-rang attack is pitiful. Sakuyamon isn’t bad, though, and you can count on her to pick up the slack.
B: Fox Kick – Short-range kicking attack.

B (while running): Wisteria Punch – Lunge forward and punch.
Up + B: Fox Leaf Arrowhead – Shoots small leaves straight ahead.

V-mon
Evolves to: Imperialdramon Paladin Mode
V-mon is a great fighter, his only problem is that he has absolutely no long-range moves. All of his attacks are short range, so you must get up close to attack, although most are quite useful. Imperialdramon’s Paladin Mode, which is what he evolves to, is absolutely devastating.
B: V Punch – Press repeatedly to perform a combo.
B (in midair): V Kick – Jumping kick.
B (while running): Boom-Boom Punch – Rapid-fire punch combo.
Up + B: V-mon Head – Headbutt attack shooting diagonally up.

Taunt: V-mon bats a soccer ball around for a moment.

Up + B: Positron Laser – Fires a laser shot straight ahead.
Up + B (in midair): Giga Death – Launches a semi-homing electrical orb.

Wormmon
Evolves to: Imperialdramon Fighter Mode
Wormmon, like V-mon, suffers from a lack of long-range attacks. But for some reason, he doen’t seem quite as good a fighter as V-mon. He evolves to another incarnation of Imperialdramon, which is mostly the same as his white-armored counterpart.
B: Worm Whip – Smacks enemy with tail.
B (in midair): Worm Wheel – Aerial spinning attack.

B (while running): Claw Combo – A highly damaging combo of claw strikes.

Agumon (corrupt)

Lopmon
Evolves to: Cherubimon
How to Unlock: Finish the game with any three digimon, different from the ones used to unlock the black Agumon.
Lopmon is somewhat a recolored clone of Terriermon; but he has a few attacks that are different from his twin. Some of these attacks are useful for earning lots of spirit orbs quickly. Cherubimon is strong as well, but he has only short-ranged attacks.

Gabumon
Evolves to: Omegamon
How to Unlock: Finish the game with all digimon, including Agumon corrupt and Lopmon.
Gabumon seems a bit sluggish, but he has some good attacks. He suffers from the familiar problem of a lack of long-range attacks. Strangely enough, he skips MetalGarurumon and evolves straight to Omegamon, who is powerful, but his selection of attacks leaves a bit to be desired.
B: Multi Punch –A multi-punch combo.
B (in midair): Drill Horn – Spinning horn attack.
B (while running): Horn Strike – Charges forward w/horn.
Up + B: Petite Fire – Breathes a toungue of blue flame straight ahead.

Agumon V2
Evolves to: Omegamon
How to Unlock: Finish the game with Gabumon.
The version of Agumon is a lot like before. The big difference is that he evolves to Omegamon instead of WarGreymon. Omegamon’s attacks are the same as when evolved from Gabumon.
B: Claw Strike – Double claw slash.
B (in midair): Flailing Kick – Frenzied kick attack.

Up + B (in midair): Garuru Cannon – Fires an energy blast at a downward angle.

Impmon
Evolves to: nothing (Don’t ask me why he doesn’t evolve to Beelzebumon. I didn’t make the game.)
How to Unlock: Finish the game with 300 spirit orbs. This may sound impossible, but it’s actually quite easy. Just set the Difficulty to Easy and the Timer to 180. Then select a digimon who can rack up lots of spirits quickly (I used Lopmon).
Impmon has few attacks, but they’re pretty powerful. His big disadvantage is the opposite of most of the others; he has no short-ranged attacks. This combined with the fact that he can’t evolve to anything makes Milleniummon a tough fight at the end.
B: Night of Fire – Shoots a fireball that sets the enemy on fire.
B (in midair): Night of Fire – Shoots a fireball that sets the enemy on fire.
B (while running): Night of Fire – Shoots a fireball that sets the enemy on fire.
