As metioned before, I didn't care for Digimon all that much when I first saw it. The Pokemon franchise was it it's prime right around then, so I thought this was just some kind of cheap Pokemon-ripoff that many people still think it is. But, one morning I was bored, and there was nothing better to watch. There was a marathon at the time of the entire Vamdemon storyline. That's probably why that's my favorite sroty arc in season 1, since it completely turned around my opinion. Now, it's become one of my favorite anime series ever.
