Shortly after the success of the original virtual pet, Bandai took it to a new level with the Digimon Pendulum. This new V-pet expands on the older versions with numerous new features.
One such feature is the namesake pendulum device inside the unit. By shaking the device, you can improve your digimon’s success either during training or in battle. Another new feature is called Jogress (short for ‘Joint Progress’). If you have another Pendulum, you can use Jogress to fuse two digimon together to cause them to evolve. In addition, the Ultimate stage was added to the digimon hierarchy at this point.
A total of 11 versions were released. The first five that came out had a modified version of themselves that had a few small changes in the digimon available.
Pendulum 1: Nature Spirits
This Pendulum is silver with black or blue trim and has Triceramon on the box. Most Pendulums had some kind of theme, but it’s hard for me to really see a trend on this one.
