Time for a new featured deck this month, and this one will be for last month. Eventually I'll get around to making a table of contents page so you can see each deck of the month or featured deck of the month that we showed it. I don't know if I'll fling that Exodia Deck in it because, that one has a lot of room for improvement, but anyways, this months deck is the Harpy Lady Deck. With the new Release of PGD, the Harpy Lady's have gotten a little bit of an edge with some brand new wind monsters that can be devastating when used effectively. Lets look at this deck, shall we?

Now lets break down this decks basics. There are two possibly ways I could see this deck winning a duel. One, some or most I should say, of these monsters have effects that brings monsters from your deck to the field or the deck to your hand, so a monster rush could easily do the job. Another is with a lockdown by using the popular Yata-Lock or the Winged Sage Falcos. Now, most times the monsters in this deck will be getting power boosts from cards like Rising Air Current and Bladefly. Helpoemer is really out of place in this deck. I created this deck using only cards I had at my disposal, not YVD, so he seemed like the best choice at the time. You see the edits above, so I'll explain them. Switching Helpoemer with a Harpy Lady Sisters is kind of a no-brainer because for one, its a Harpy Lady Deck and two, Helpoemer really isn't effective unless you are using a type of deck destruction deck or hand disruption. Rising Air Current in place of Terraforming because Terraforming adds the card to your hand and having it already is much better. Winged Sage Falcos in place of Birdface because its got a stronger attack already and it may be able to send your opponents into a lock down state. I have yet to run this deck in a tournament, but when I do I'll let you know how it goes, but this deck is cheap to play, except for a few ultra rares and a secret rare. Overall, I'd have to say this is one of the better themed decks out there. I ran a Fisherman Deck (AKA, Finding Nemo Deck) for awhile and that went over well, I'll post it later, when I get around to it.
Here's where I feature decks that you can use. Some of them are more simple then others and some are quite expensive to play. The deck featured this month is a more expensive deck to play. The deck featured is none other then the Exodia deck.

All right, the basic idea of this deck is to assemble Exodia. Sangan and Witch of the Black can get you a piece when sent from the field to the graveyard. Monster Reborn, Call of the Haunted, and Premature Burial can get Witch or Sangan back for you, allowing to get another piece. Also, unless you are in a tight spot, use Man Eater Bug to destroy your Sangan or Witch or just go suicidal with the both of them. Another idea is to summon on of them then activate Torrential Tribute or play Dark Hole. Raigeki is a no brainer, because it can help any deck. Pot of Greed and the Graceful Charitys are in there in order for you to draw more, increasing the odds you'll get more pieces. Nimble Momonga's are added for defense and to discard for the Graceful Charity. Hane-Hanes and Penguin Soldiers are used in case your opponent manages to get one of those pieces (mainly the head) into the graveyard. You can use Monster Reborn or similar cards and have Hane-Hane or Penguin Soldier return it to your hand. If it isn't the head that is sent to your grave, you can use Backup Soldier to get the piece or pieces right back in your hand. Backup Soldier is part of a powerful combination with Painful Choice. Activate Painful Choice a turn after setting Backup Soldier and let your opponent choose from one of three pieces of Exodia (Not the Head) and two other cards. Chances are they'll send the three pieces of Exodia to the grave and you can get them back with your Backup Soldier. Fiber Jar is used only when you out of options and your opponent has either taken a piece with exchange or sent majority of them to the graveyard. This is a fairly simple deck to play if you know how to work it, but it is one of the most expensive decks to play because of the five pieces of Exodia.
