Chapter 10*~

~2 Years Later~

I watched as the twins ran past me. I sighed and grabbed the three year olds and looked them in their eyes. “Woah, where are you two going?”

“Ouside.” They looked at me and I shrugged and let them go.

“Fine but don’t run in the house...and stay in the yard with your sisters!”

            “Otay!!!”

I shook my head and laughed as I watched them run off together, boy were they trouble. I walked into the kitchen where Aaliyah was putting a chicken in the oven and watched as her eyes caught mine. “Hey baby...”

“Hey sweetie.” She laughed and sighed. “Where are the troublesome two?”

“Outside with the rest of the bad ass kids.” I wrapped my arms around her waist and sighed. “Well you’ve got a little time on your hands right?” I felt her laugh against my chest and I looked at her as she smiled.

“Yeah I may have four minutes before the little ones come running back in. What are you thinking about?”

“I think you know what I have in mind.”

“Well you think we can pull it off in under four minutes?”

“I think it can be managed.”

“Alright then, bring it...” Aaliyah said and looked me in my eyes.

~*2 minute later*~

“What’s my name baby? What’s my fucking name Justin?!” Aaliyah yelled and watched me stare at her with a pissed expression.

            “You were just lucky.”

“Lucky? You just got your ass whooped in Dance, Dance, Revolution.” Aaliyah shook her butt and laughed. “You just lost to mwa. I’m sorry but I’m too good for you.”

“I am gonna whoop your ass get back here.” I chased her down the hall and laughed. It was times like this that I cherished and never wanted to let go.

~*Later That Day*~

“So she lived happily ever after, the end.” I closed the book and looked at the twins who looked at me, quite puzzled now. I sighed and shook my head and laughed as Dawn rose her pretty little eyebrows. “Dawn Marie? Anything you want to add baby girl?”

“Daddy...how can she live happily ever after if she lost her shoe?”

“Yeah daddy...if mama lost her shoe she would probably die...” Layla added in and looked at me.

I laughed and shrugged. “I don’t know, maybe they were cheap shoes. Unlike your mother who has to pay like a thousand dollars for a pair of shoes.” I said and looked at the twins who seemed to shrug,

            “Daddy....”

“Yes?” I looked at Dawn Marie who looked at me with bright eyes.

“Can we go get ice cream tomorrow?”

“Sure, but lets get some sleep now so we can go tomorrow alright?” I watched the nod and kissed their foreheads and pulled the cover up over them. “Goodnight you two, sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bight.”

            “Bed bugs!!!! EWWW!”

I sighed and slapped my forehead as they jumped up out of bed and I shook my head. “Girls!” They were still screaming and I shook my head. “GIRLS! It’s just a saying...”

“Oh...” they climbed back under the sheet and covers and smiled. “sowwy daddy.”

I laughed and smiled softly at them. “Don’t worry about it, now get some sleep aight?”

“ok,” I walked to the door and opened it, closing it slowly behind me. I came face to face with Aaliyah and the look on her face was priceless as she laughed. “Them your children.”

“Nuh uh, they are so yours, so yours.”
