Chapter 10*~

I yawned sleepily and looked at Drew who looked back at me. It seemed like he would be up for the rest of the night and I would be too. I sat him down on the soft carpet in the nursery and turned around for a second to answer the phone. “Hello? Hey...Sure, no problem, bye.”

Aaliyah walked into the nursery; her face showing shock. “Justin, don’t turn around too fast but look at Drew...”

I turned around slowly. Wondering what she was so shocked about. I turned around and looked at Drew who came walking towards me and right into my arms. “He’s walking??? He’s walking....” I laughed and picked him up; looking him in his little eyes with a smile. “You’re walking, wow.”

“He’s getting so big. I want you to know that he spoke for the first time this morning.”

I looked at her; my eyebrows raised in question. “What was his first word?”

“Daddy...”

“HA!” I yelled and laughed and pointed at her. “Daddy was his first word! Not Mommy! IN YOUR FACE LILI!”

She looked at me, a smug grin plastered across her pretty face. “So Dana’s first words were mama, not papa. So you’re a little too late to be bragging honey bunny.”

“So” I stuck my tongue out at her and held Drew watching a smile form across his face. “I have to tell everyone! I need to tell everyone I know.” I sat Drew down and smiled widely as I picked up the phone and dialed the number. “Hey mom, guess what...Drew said his first word, and it was daddy. Yep, Li is a little heart broken...” I watched as she rolled her eyes and laughed. “Yep and he walked...to me...Yep I know. It’s just overwhelming yep mom...well I just wanted to call and tell you that. Alright bye....”

“You make me sick...” She said and turned around.

“Wait!!! Come back! I haven’t called Trace and them yet!!!”

~*2 hours later*~

“Want a piece of fruit?” I asked her and watched as she nodded. “¿Apple? ¿O Pera, Plátano, Anaranjado?”

“Anaranjado.” Dana answered simply and smiled as she caught the fruit. “Gracias papa.”

“De nada.” I smiled softly and watched as she ran out of the room and looked at Aaliyah as she walked into the kitchen. A huge smile formed across my lips. “Hey baby...”

“Oh no you don’t. Don’t hey baby me...” Aaliyah laughed and glared at him.

“Aww are you still heart broken? Li, there will always be a next time...”

“A next time? I don’t think I want to have any more kids with you.” She laughed and looked at him. “You make me sick.”

“Aww you don’t really mean that because you love me. Sure, you got dissed by your two year old son, but oh well. You’ll live and move on...”

“You are such a cocky bastard.”

“So, and you still love me.” I kissed her softly. Feeling her arms close behind my back. She smiled at me and I smiled back, kissing her softly once more. “Even though you are such a conniving bitch.”

“I think that’s why we get along so well.” Aaliyah winked and pushed her hair over her shoulder and looked at the baby monitor and then at Justin. “That’s your call...”

“Why is it mine?”

“That’s your baby...my baby is in the other room, watching tv.”

“Of you are so evil.”

“And you still love me.”

“You’re right I do, and I will always love you.” I looked her in her eyes and started out of the kitchen. “But he still said daddy first.”

“Fuck you Justin!”

~*Later That Day*~

I opened my eyes. It was nap time. Just me and Drew for the entire day. I looked over at my cell phone that was ringing and sighed as I reached for it. I slightly grabbed it and was able to hit it onto the floor and then grabbed it answering it. “Hello?”

“Justin, thank god you’re here.”

“What? Adriana is that you?”

“Yes, I’ve been trying to get you but nobody answered.” She said in between breaths.

“What’s wrong? What’s going on?”

“It’s Li and Dana.”

“What about them?” I sat up quick; feeling my heart race in my chest. “Adriana SPEAK TO ME! WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?” I could hear her crying and that’s when I knew what she was going to say. That’s when I knew that my life as I knew it was over.

“Justin, they’re dead.”
