Chapter 16*~So We
have reached what we call the end...
when you're on the outside baby and you can’t
get in
I will show you you're so much better than you know
when you're lost and you're alone and you cant get back again
I will find you darling and I will bring you home
and if you want to cry
I am here to dry your eyes
and in no time
you'll be fine
I sighed as I looked up at the
ceiling. Nothingness. That’s all I saw. Today was Dana’s ninth birthday. I had
missed so much the past two years including Drew’s first day of school. All
because I made bad choices. Because I screwed up my life and took that swing at
their mother. I was the one that had left their mother in a grave. She would
never smile at me again and she would never see her children get married. The
funny thing was we were so set on Karen and Matthew ruining our lives that
actually in the end we ruined our own by ourselves. I heard the door open and
looked over at it.
“They’re here to get you.”
“Thanks.” I stood up, leaving that
hell forsaken place. Hoping never to see it again. I walked out of the room.
Never looking back. I walked towards them a smile on my face. I walked towards
her kissing her softly looking her in her eyes. A smile on her face. “It’s
over.”
“It’s over.” She nodded in
agreement.
“Daddy!”
I ran towards them lifting both of
them in my arms. I kissed their foreheads, giving them a wide smile. I looked
back at her. Her face was calm. A smile formed on her face. “I wish it wouldn’t
have came down to this. She didn’t deserve this.”
“My sister didn’t deserve a lot
Justin but she always got it. The bad would never leave her alone.” Her eyes
filled with tears. “You know that she would have forgiven you. She loves you.”
“And I love her and you.”
Adriana smiled and kissed him softly
taking his hand and walking towards the light.
So you see that’s the true story of
Justin Timberlake, a father and a lover. Goodnight.
