Chapter 10~*
Justin looked down at his watch and wondered
where Aaliyah was. They were supposed to be going on a walk together today and
she was supposed to be there now. He looked up and saw her running towards him.
“Hey
sorry I’m late, your daughter couldn’t find her shoes, then we had some other problems.”
Aaliyah said and shook her head.
“Don’t
worry about it.” He smiled, “So is Izzy at your mothers?” He asked and watched
her nod.
“Yeah,
my mom wanted to spend some time with her.” She shrugged,” My main thought was
, I’m child free for a day.”
I'm Down For Whatever,
No Matter How Ya Act.
Ya Never Have To Worry Bout A Thing, I Gotcha Back.
When No One Else Is There, With Me You can Chill.
Because It Feels Real Good,
When You Know Somebody’s Got Ya Back.
He laughed, “I know your excited
about that.” He watched her bend over to tie her shoes and the only thing he
could think of was, stop looking at her like that you’re a married man. “Looks
like someone’s been working out lately.” He watched her smile.
Your Hotter Than
Summer Day, In California.
Ya Got Me Meltin Like A Sundae, And I Want Ya.
I Know You’ve Been Wait-You’ve Been Waitin A long Time For Me.
But If You Wait A Little While Longer This Is How It'll Be.
“Of course, your daughter is
only four and is already playing sports, she plays soccer and every once in
awhile she’s playing basketball. Then I still play soft ball and I have to
chase your daughter around, I have a good work out everyday.” She laughed, “And
that’s not including walking the puppies, going walking with the girls and then
going to work.” She shrugged, “I can’t believe in my free time I talk on the
phone and play soft ball, I should be sleeping.”
Baby usually when you
do me,
Keepin’ me straight,
Show me all your lovin’,
Baby you’re so amazing,
Never dreamed I’d be cravin’ 2 be open,
Never thought it was a joke and
Didn’t know I would realize real love,
And I’d been hopin’,
That’d you,
Stay right here with me,
Give me all, give me all,
All the love I need,
Baby you’re all, all I need.
“For
someone who works too much you don’t seem like you could ever get tired.”
Justin said and met eyes with her. “You all ways had too much energy to burn,
so lively.”
“Sometimes
I’m to lively for my own good.” She said as they walked. “I’ve learned to
control most of my emotions and energy.” She smiled, “But when you’re a mother
of a four year old you really need to know when to hold your tongue.”
It’s Been To Long, and I’m lost
without you
What am I gonna do,
Said I’ve been needin you,
Wantin you,
Wonderin if you’re the same and
who’s been with you,
Is your heart still mine?
I wanna cry sometimes, I miss
you
“I’m
glad to see that you actually can control that little snotty attitude of
yours.” He said and looked at her. “I know how you are, it’s always your way or
no way, and I’m glad your breaking that habit.”
“I
don’t have a snotty attitude, now you on the other hand, you have a really bad
temper, and your attitude scares me to death.” She looked at him, “I’m glad you
have that under control at least.” She said.
“I
know, I do have a temper problem and I’ve been working on it for awhile.” He
looked at her, “I’m sorry about all the times that I did get really mad at you,
I never meant to scare you.”
“Don’t
worry about it.” Aaliyah smiled, “I’m just glad you admitted that you do have a
temper problem.” She laughed, “That’s very big of you.”
“I
know,” Justin smiled as they walked. “Now, I want to know what’s with some of
the things I’ve read about you.” He laughed.
“It’s
a long story Justin, a long story.” She laughed as they continued to walk. If
they couldn’t be a couple they sure enough could be best friends. He had known
so much about her and she knew so much about him. If one thing was for sure his
mother adored her and still wasn’t sure about him marrying Christina. Was it
really the right choice? Or was he just using her to fill the space where
Aaliyah once was?
