Chapter 7~

“So how did it go?” Christina asked the next morning and looked at the smile on Justin’s face.

“It was great, Issabell is such a wonderful girl, she’s interesting too.” He laughed. “She’s so much like her mother that it’s just funny.” He smiled “I got to hold her in my arms and put her in the tub and pick out clothes for her and listen to her talk, and it was just like we were the Cleavers or something, it was just so happy.” He shrugged and smiled.

“Well that’s good to hear. Her mother is a wonderful woman so I know that Issabell is a great child.” Christina said and smiled at Justin. She was worried that Justin and Aaliyah would bond too much over this child. She didn’t want him to leave her. That wouldn’t be fair at all. “I know Aaliyah has to be a great mother, she was one of my closest friends in elementary school and she has always been there for everyone.”

“You’ve known her for that long, so why haven’t you two talked in so long? ” He asked and looked up at her.

“Well, after high school we both were so busy, she was singing and then I got into singing and with both of our schedules we really didn’t talk.” She shrugged, “But we did write each other a lot, and we still do.”

~*12:00 p.m.*~

Justin had been talking to his daughter and she had said that Aaliyah wasn’t being herself. Of course he hoped she was alright. She was the woman he would always love, the woman he would always dearly love. He sighed and opened the door to her room and came up behind her. “Liyah,” Justin said and wrapped his arms around her waist.

“Justin, hey.” She said and turned towards him. “Let me guess Issabell let you in.” She smiled a little.

“Yeah, she told me you weren’t being yourself, what’s going on?” He asked and looked at her and hoped she would tell him what was going on.

“Nothing, I guess I’m just a little wore out.” She said and looked up at him and smiled. “Of course , I’ll be fine after a little break.”

“You just take it easy alright, I don’t want to see you all stressed out and not being yourself, that’s just scary.” He smiled at her, “Besides you’re an outstanding mother when your up and at it.” He looked her in the eyes. “So do me a favor and get up.” He saw her smile.

“Alright, but only because you asked me to.” She smiled and laughed, “Anyway, if you wouldn’t have gotten me up, I’m sure your daughter would have.”

“I’m pretty sure she would have had you up and on your feet.” He said and smiled. “So what are you working on?” He asked and looked down at her notebook.

“Nothing, just a song.” She said and shrugged, “I was washing clothes when it just popped into my head.” She laughed, “The things I think about while doing chores around the house.”

“I want to hear it.” He said and looked at her and smiled, “Come on, you can share anything with me.”

“Alright,” She smiled, “It’s called No Day’s Go By” She said and looked at him. “It goes like this, It's all because of you I'm feeling sad and blue
You went away and now my life is filled with rainy days

No days go by I'm thinking of you

And no way can I forget the things you do

You're on my mind all day and night
You're all I'm thinking of the way you treat me right
My days with you are here no more
We had some good days I know for sure

No days go by I'm not thinking of you
And no way can I forget( I can't get you off my mind)
The thing you do

We've got a special thing I never could explain
Straight up the way I feel it doesn't seem real
I never meant to hurt you don't go nowhere
Cause you know this heart I'll always share

You said your love was true but I don't see that
You left me alone broke up this happy home
Why'd you have lie

No days go by I'm not thinking of you
And no way can I forget ( you are always on my mind)
The thing you do

My love
And on and on and on.” She looked up at him and smiled. “Just something that came to me while washing.”

He knew exactly who the song was about and smiled. “I loved it, I really did.” He said and looked at her.
