Chapter 1*~All I Need

Baby ever since I found you,
Seems like everyday I’ve been happy,
See the way you love me,
Turns me out, baby I can feel my heart beat,
Seems like lately I’ve been thinkin’,
Feelin’ that you are everything,
Feels like more and more,
I’m hoping that you are the only.

Aaliyah sighed and looked down at her two-year-old daughter Courtney Alyssa Timberlake. They had moved to Memphis after the incident with Carmen. She actually wanted to move back to New York so she could be closer to her mother but Justin wanted to move to Memphis to be around his mother. Of course she gave in. It was about maybe 4:00 a.m. in Memphis. She had no idea, all she knew was Courtney had finally went back to sleep. She was drifting off when she felt a tap on her shoulder and jumped a little.

All I need,
All I need,
All I need is you.
Baby you’re everything,
Everything,
Everything is you.
Baby you’re all I need,
All I need,
All I need is you.
Baby you’re everything,
Everything,
Everything is you.

“Go to bed, she’ll be fine.” Justin said and looked at her and smiled. “You’ve been up all night, just go get some sleep alright.” He said.

Baby usually when you do me,
Keepin’ me straight,
Show me all your lovin’,
Baby you’re so amazing,
Never dreamed I’d be cravin’ 2 be open,
Never thought it was a joke and
Didn’t know I would realize real love,
And I’d been hopin’,
That’d you,
Stay right here with me,
Give me all, give me all,
All the love I need,
Baby you’re all, all I need

Aaliyah yawned and hugged him, “Thanks,” She whispered before heading out the door of her daughters’ room.

I don’t want nobody but you,
I don’t need nobody but you,
Said I don’t want nobody but you,
‘Cause I don’t love nobody but you.

Justin smiled and watched her walk out the door. He was glad that he was finally happy again. They already had two girls, Issabell Elizabeth Timberlake and Ashleigh Renee Timberlake. What worked out perfectly was that they both sang and it always came in handy when Courtney wouldn’t sleep. He smiled at his daughter and kissed her forehead before going back in the other room.

~*Later That Day*~

Aaliyah walked down the stairs and into the living room and smiled. “Well hi Katie.” She said and smiled. “How have you been?”

Sixteen-year-old Katherine Summers her next-door neighbor smiled back. “Hi Mrs. Timberlake, I’ve been good, how have you been?” She asked and picked up Courtney.

“I’ve been tired.” She said and laughed. “And good morning you little trouble maker.” Aaliyah said and kissed Courtney and watched her laugh. “Hey Katie do you happen to know where Justin is?”

Katie turned around and pointed at the back door, “He went outback with Izzy and Ashleigh.” She said and tickled Courtney.

“Thanks Katie.” Aaliyah said and opened the door and closed it back behind her.

“Well if it isn’t the sleepy one, I wondered when you would ever get up.” Justin said and lifted his head from the paper to look at her.

“Hey, has someone forgotten that I just went to sleep like four hours ago?” Aaliyah asked and kissed him. “What are you up to today?” She asked him and walked over to the pool and sat on the edge.

“Well, me and the guys were going to go out for a couple of hours but if you have nothing to do I can stay with you and the kids.” Justin said and watched her smile.

“No you go ahead, actually me Courtney, Izzy, Ashleigh, and Katie are going to do some shopping and then maybe stop at the park for an hour and then later on I’m meeting up with some of the girls.” Aaliyah said and looked back at him.

“Wow, I’m impressed.” Justin said and laughed. “You’re actually going to go somewhere and leave Courtney here with Katie.”

“Why are you so impressed?” She asked and raised an eyebrow.

“Well I know you, that’s your baby, if you could you would spend every waking moment with her.” Justin laughed, “You did the same thing with Issabell when she was smaller, and when you had the time, you were the same with Ashleigh.”

“I was not…” She folded her arms over her chest.

“Hi Mommy.” Issabell and Ashleigh said and ran into their mothers’ arms.

            “Hey you two,” She smiled.

“Guess what Mommy!” Ashleigh looked at her mother.

“What?” Aaliyah asked and saw their faces light up.

“Katie is taking us to Tasha’s house this afternoon. ” Issabell said and smiled.

“Really,” She smiled, “I know you two are excited aren’t you?” She asked and watched them nod. She laughed, “You obviously get the enthusiasm from your father.”

“Well, at least they picked up good things from me.” Justin laughed.

“Hey, what are you trying to say?” Aaliyah raised and eyebrow, “They didn’t pick up anything bad from me.”

“Sure, what about that annoying Spanish animal song?” Justin looked at them.

“What annoying Spanish animal song?” Aaliyah smiled widely and looked at Issabell. “Would it be this one?”

            “!Alli’ en La Granja,

             Yo he encontrado,

            Animales que bailaban,

            A todos lados!

            Mira abajo,

            Que es eso?

            Los patos ques graznan,

            Que graznan, que graznan,

            Los patos que graznan….”

“Stop it, stop it!” Justin covered his ears.

Ashleigh laughed and looked at Issabell and her mother.

            “!Alli’ en La Granja,

             Yo he encontrado,

            Animales que bailaban,

            A todos lados!

            Mira abajo,

            Que es eso?

            Los burros que rebuznan.

            Que rebuznan, que rebuznan.

            Los burros que rebuznan.”

“Lalalalalalala.” Justin looked at them, “Last time I checked, ducks didn’t graznan and donkeys don’t go rebuznan.” He laughed. “You all are so mean.”

“Mean?” Aaliyah laughed, “Alright we’ll remember that,”

“Ok, maybe not always mean.” Justin smiled.

“Alright you two, go get ready to go and tell Katie I’ll be ready to leave in five minutes.” Aaliyah watched them nod and run into the house. “I’ll see you later, and tell the guys I said hi.” She kissed him.

“I will,” Justin smiled and watched her leave. She had never really changed in the way she looked. She was still skinny black haired brown-eyed Aaliyah. The only thing that had changed was her age. She was in her late twenties now and has three children and a life filled with things to come.
