Chapter 8*~

Aaliyah woke up the next morning and watched, as Justin got dressed. “Where are you going?” She asked as she yawned.

“Out with Mandy.”

“What? Why?”

Justin rolled his eyes and picked up his sunglasses. “Because I can Li, she’s my friend and I want to spend some time with her so BACK OFF.”

Aaliyah rolled her eyes and took off her wedding ring. “Whatever.” She pulled the cover over her head.

Justin rolled his eyes and didn’t even say another word to her. He was tired of her always trying to dictate things that he did. It was his life, so she should let him live it.

~*6:00 p.m.*~

Justin looked over at Mandy as he pulled his shirt over his head. He left a quick little note for her when she woke up and left. He wondered if Aaliyah would be all pissed off again but as he pulled up in the drive way something was completely wrong. He walked in the house and turned on the lights. He walked into the kitchen and his eyes caught a glimpse of horror as he found Aaliyah lying on her back bleeding from the head. He kneeled down beside her and dialed 911 as he took the note out of her hand.

Justin,

Funny how things turn out huh? *Laughing* you just really don’t know what to expect from me anymore huh? If you’ve found this too late, then there’s nothing you can do but if you found it in time then I might be still alive. If you don’t get this in time make sure you know that I love you and the kids. My reason? I think you know.

Justin looked horrified at the letter and then at his hands where she was slowly drifting away.

~*12:00 a.m.*~

Justin sighed as he waited for any word on how Aaliyah was doing. He was somewhat pissed and angry at the same time. One he was upset because he didn’t see this coming. Secondly he was angry because he had just found out that she was pregnant at the same time she tried to commit suicide. He watched as her doctor came out and nodded.

“She’s doing a lot better Justin. You can go see her but please keep her calm alright.”

Justin nodded as he watched her walk away. He opened the door and looked at Aaliyah who was staring up at the ceiling. “How are you feeling?”

“I don’t even know, I kind of can’t feel anything.” She sighed.

“I just want to know were you planning on telling me you were pregnant? Or did you think you were big and bad enough to raise this child on your own?”

“I didn’t want to tell you because I didn’t want another child because you can’t handle the three we already have.” She said and shook her head. “It would be cruel to bring a child into this world when we can’t handle the three we have.” She closed her eyes. “Keep that in mind.”
