Saizou Kirigakure
Hiding in the Fog Saizo
The legendary leader of the Koga ninja who was also a member of the Sanada Jyuyuushi. He was a loyal servant to Yukimura and was important in the Winter Battle of Osaka in 1614. He is famous for his attempt to assassinate the Shogun Ieyasu, under the order of Yukimura after their defeat in the Battle of Seikigahara. The assassination resulted in failure when Saizou and the Koga ninjas were tricked by the Hanzo Hattori, the leader of Tokugawa Ieyasu's ninjas. Saizou probably died in the Winter Battle of Osaka in 1614.
