About the Series
 Inuyasha is a manga and anime series written by Rumiko Takahashi. The series is about a girl named Kagome Higurashi, who lives in modern day Tokyo. One day she falls into a well located on her families property and is magically transported to the Feudal Era of Japan. There she releases the half-demon Inuyasha from a spell that has bound him to a tree for 50 years and thens Kagome ends up breaking the Sacred Jewel. Kagome and Inuyasha then begin a quest to retrieve the shards of the Jewel, and along the way they meet a lecherous monk, a fox demon, and a demon slayer who become their companions. Together the group searches for the Jewel shards and fight against their enemy, Naraku.
