E.R.A.C.S (Equal Rights for the Advanced Carrien Species)

Short Intro~ For some odd reason the advanced carrien species has suddenly become my favorite species in the world of progress and as such they will become my new pet project until I decide I want a different one.

Beliefs~ One of the original two official groups to arise along with the advanced carriens out of the cannibal sectors is ERACS. ERACS has been around for about as long as the advanced carriens has been public and during that time they have managed to gather no small amount of respect. ERACS philosophy is such that SLA is far to big to take down or co-exist with. The only option left to them is to join them. There is of course one small snag in this plan, the carriens have been hunted down for hundreds of years. In order to counter balance this school of thought the members of this organization go out of their way to try and fit into society or to gain respect. The way they try to fit in, is by eating normally cooked foods, dressing appropriately, speaking proper English, and in general trying not to eat people. When choosing a squad to be in they tend to choose the most racially diverse squads that they can find to show to everyone that they are capable of working together with just about anyone. Their ability to get along with Chagrins has been particularly noted. When they manage to get airtime they make sure to say a few things about the organization that they belong to as well as showing the public who well they all worked together as a team to solve their BPN. Members of ERACS in this that belong to this school of thought tend to take BPN's where they hunt down and destroy subversive elements. Also they are more than willing to go on carrien exterminating expeditions to help show the world that they are truly above their past. The other way they try to fit in is by winning the respect of their peers. The way they do this is by going on red and black BPN's to help prove that they are willing to do anything for SLA industries. Usually squads like these are short lived and consist entirely of Advanced Carriens. In order to increase their survivability they usually invest heavily in combat drugs and implants so that hopefully they can make an impact before being swept away. Most Advanced Carriens who join this organization tend to take the death squad, or kick murder packages. These packages allow the carriens to be highly versatile and it assists them in fitting into a team effort.

Who's Who~ Like all Carrien societies their command line remains a highly secret affair. This is because there are just some people who can not let go of the past and over look the years of terror they've been forced to endure at the hands of the carrien race. This they learned the hard way when the original head of ERACS attempted to make a public appearance at an uptown mall to discuss tolerance and peace among the Advanced Carriens and other races. Afterward the leaders become highly secretive and not even the members of ERACS themselves know who is truly in charge. Of course this need for secrecy is generally recognized from all of it's members. The central meeting place for ERACS is in an undisclosed location somewhere within cannibal sector 4. While they would like to move into an uptown office certain forces seem bent on stopping them. That and the potential for terrorist attack increases exponentially when they have a great big office building advertising carriens here. All members of ERACS know where the head office is.

Being A Member~ Being a member of ERACS has certain benefits to it as well as certain drawbacks. Lets start this off on a positive note shall we? Members of ERACS in general are better at dealing with the other races than your average Advanced Carrien, and as such their bad reputation is reduced by one for most groups. Also anyone within the organization will lend them and their associated squad a helping hand in times of need. This includes money for LAD payments, information, guides into the cannibal sectors, and the other perks usually included with a major friend. The disadvantages of all this of course is while you may ask them for favors sometimes they will ask the same for you. This may include taking a certain BPN, to working with a specific squad, going into the cannibal sectors and recruiting new advanced carriens, as well as a monthly fee of 50 credits (the going price on 5 carrien heads). In general these special favors don't tend to happen all to often, mabey one per every three months. Also these missions do not tend to be extremely life threatening in nature but they are tasks that are necessary. Refusal without a valid reason will result in a hefty fine from the organization. Two refusals from the organization will result in expulsion from ERACS and all privileges removed. Bio rhythms

Sponsorship: ERACS is a level 2 sponsor. This is due to their limited funds and the limited number of people who would like to be sponsored by them. Seeing as they can not afford Snake Eyes asking price they usually give their sponsor's to ops in squads who look good on camera and are able to speak well.

The Committee Separation & Unification

Beleifs: The other Carrien group that is official recognized by SLA Industires is the S&P Union. This is another group of buissness minded like carriens that has taken a rather dim veiw on the atempted mass genocide of their species. However, they do recognize SLA industiers as a supreame preditor so they see their only way of survial is to convince SLA to leave them alone. Their proposal is for SLA to reclaim one of the cannibal sectors or possibly to give them their own planet where they could live in peace and be out of Mr. Slayer's hair for good. Many high ranking officals are listening favorable to their proposal and are giving it seriouse consideration. However, their biggest problem at the moment is the E.R.A.C.S. especially since they have recently started employing contract killers to help further their agenda, in more ways than two.

Who's Who: Like all advanced carrien societys they have to keep their upper ranks secret. Despite the fact that they want to be seperated some people do not see this as good enough and they want them whipped off the face of the earth. Also for some reason Dark Night has some sort of vendetta againsit them but the details of what exactly it is aboout is a closely gaurded secret.

Being A Member: Becoming a member of the Committee of Seperation & Unification is a simple process that involves nothing more than filling out a few forms and sending in a yearly membership fee. Membership is open to all races, and to anyone who is interesting in furthering the cause. However due to the numerouse death threats and irrational attacks against them it is hard to maintain a sold base of people. Still their cause is gaining momentum.

Kanker: A Dark Night Cell

History: One of the most sucessful cell's in Dark Nights history Kanker has been the most recent scourge on the blasted landscape that is Mort. Their attacks usally involve them knocking out the power to a portion of the city and then bursting forth from the sewers to wreak havok, only to melt away once again before any sort of organized resistence can be brought fowards. It is estimated that there are around 150 memebers of Kanker and with Dark Night's recruiters scourering the cannibal sectors who knows what thier rate of growth may be. Due to thier incredble knowlage of the sewer systems, and the cannibal sectors themselves they are prooved to be a rather considerable thorn in SLA's side.
