Los Pescados del Corazon

(The Fish Of The Heart)

Improvisational art. I turned on a mix CD with stuff by John Coltrane, Charles Mingus, Miles Davis, Thelonius Monk, and painted whatever came to me in the seventy five minutes that the CD played. The only things added after the fact were the phrases at the top (the title of the painting) and bottom (hands that plead).

Note: This was not *completely* improvisational. I had to apply gesso to the wood board before hand. But that doesn't really count as painting, now does it? So, never mind.
