The Review: Everlovely Lighteningheart started the evening off with some weird, trippy music. They had strange
instruments, such as mufflers, sheets of metal and glass jars, spread all over both levels of The Launchpad.
Sound impressive? Well, they sucked. These guys reminded me of rejects from the 60's tripping on acid. One guy
even used his hand to smash broken shards of glass into his drum. Blood was pouring all over the floor, on all
their equipment and I was really hoping the dude would pass out. Their set was one long half hour of noise. Take
it or leave it. Next up was These Arms Are Snakes. These guys were flat out funky. The lead singer was just bouncing
off the walls, spitting all over himself and deep throating the microphone, all at the same time. Pretty damned
impressive if you ask me. They definitely had a really good vibe during their set, and the little teeny boppers
down at the main floor seemed to really get into it. Last up was Isis. These guys were incredible. It was almost
entirely instrumental, with maybe a total of 3 minutes of vocals, if that. They would start off slow, build momentum
and just pump out the chords full volume. I am definitely going to be watching out for these guys.

The Recording: Both came out really nice, cannot complain. There was no way for me to bring the volume up enough on the
CSB > JB3 version of the Everlovely Lighteningheart's set, so I did not even bother. The rest sounds great, as always,
the CSB source has a tad bit of hiss, but hey, it still kicks ass.
