Dublin

Although the capital city of the Republic of Ireland, dublin is still small enough for it's inhabitants to be familiar with all of it's streets.Due to poor planning in the 1950's,dublins inner city suffers from urban decay, and most people live outside the city in satellite towns.Nevertheless, planers avoided that other aspect of city architecture of the 1960's and 1970's-the high raise building. There are no skyscrapers in Dublin, and one building ,the Central Bank of Dame Street, exceeded the city's height limits and hed to be lowered by it's builders.Dublin is the country's bussness center and many of it's inhabitants are wight-color workers and civil servants. It sits at the intersection of the River Liffey and the Irish sea and is a major trading port and sea passenger link with Britain. It's population is less than 1 million.
