this one lil tiny space on my site is dedicated to my ghurl Aaliyah who was cut short by a tragic plane crash in the Bahamas on Saturday, August 25 2001. She wasnt the only one who died in the plane crash. i believe there's other 6 or 7 people died including her makeup artist and hairstylist. its such a tragedy when a young succesful aritist dies unexpectedly. everyone is deeply saddened by her death. She was everyone's role model and everyone's favorite.

Saturday, August 25th i was in a car wit my friend and my parents driving on our way home from the mall-i turned on the radio and heard people talking in a low tone voice. then i heard somebody's death-then i heard the name of the singer Ginuwine-and that time Timbaland was on the phone talkin... i thought it was Ginuwine who passed away or sometin.. Then i heard the name Aaliyah from timbaland. he was talkin bout how great she was... at that time i knew it was aaliyah who passed away. tears started to come out of my eyes. honestly i've never even cried bout someone's death before. honestly i didnt even cry when my grandparents died-it was sad-but for some reason tears didnt came out off of my eyes. my friend who was sit'n right next to me asked me "whats wrong??" [she wasnt payin attention to the radio at all] i said "aaliyah died..". She was like "what!? huh!? when!? how!? what?!..nah-uh..". i was like "listen to the radio.." my friend tried to not believe what they're sayin in the radio. she was sayin that aaliyah was probably out there in the ocean waitin for help. At that time we didnt know what actually happened. all we knew was she was killed by a plane crash. i even make myself believe that she's out there in the ocean waitin' for someone to rescue her and still alive. When we got home, her death is all over the news in all the chanels and tv stations. That's when i found out that she's really gone because her plane crashed on a land and it exploded. everyone's burned down. there was no survivor. there was goin to be one, but in a short time lackin medical attention that person eventually died.

even now whenever i think about aaliyah's death gives me chills. i still cant believe that she's gone. she's a big lost in the entertainment today. She's not only a good singer..actress..and dancer.. she was also a good person who lights up a room when she walks in with her bright smile and outgoin personality. She was a very down to earth person. she had the talent and class to be around for a long time in the business. im pretty sure everyone has seen the episode of her [aaliyah's] "DIARY" on MTV. On that lil 30 mins. you'll get to have a chance to see parts of who she is. She is truly missed, but always remember that her music that she was able to create in a short time while she was here. she's one in a million..
