Installation procedure (for 01 2.5RS)
1. Take the back seat out by unbolting all bolts
2. Find the strut bolts (3 on each side), and unbolt them by using a ratcheting wrench or 1/4in ratchet and 12mm deep socket.
3. Put the bar-ends on. On the passenger (right) side, there is an electrical harness. Open the trunk, take the side cover out, and loosen the clips that hold the same harness. By doing this, you will get more slack in the harness, and it's easier to install the bar-end.
4. Tighten the strut bolts by using the same ratchet, but not too much because overtightening the bolt will require a new stud. You only need about 10lb/ft of torque.
5. Bolt the bar to the bar-ends.
6. Put the back-seat together.
7. Test drive and done!
