Star Worms: Episode I
Star…What?
For a long while I had thought that the idea of
combining Star Wars and Worms was one which would result in a very cool game.
After Team17 failed to reply to my suggestion that they should make it, (which
I now see was impractical due to legal issues as well as for other
reasons.) I forgot about it for a
while. Ages passed and I got KnP* and made a few games on it. Eventually I
remembered my old idea and decided to resurrect it and turn it into an actual
game.
The game took me a while to make and I was pretty
proud of it. Though in retrospect it wasn’t one of the greatest KnP games to be
made, I wasn’t as experienced in making games at the time. Anyway to cut a long
story short when I was creating this site I decided to release the game along
with Wormwar*².
I got a lot of good feedback (and some bad!) from
people on the Team17 forum which inspired me to create a sequel*³ but the
original can still be downloaded from this site, either below or from the
“Downloads” section.
The game features both a one and two player mode (The
one player mode being story-based). There are two weapons in Star Worms, the
lightsaber and the Space Strike and the action is in real-time. I can also add
levels to the Multiplayer mode with ease so I made a couple of bonus mission
packs which are also available below.

How do I download it? : Download BOTH file sets. Note that these files are
zipped so unzip them all into a folder and then run setup.exe. To get help
while in the game, press F1.

Packs: Below are the
expansion packs for SW1. The original game is not required but the instructions
on how to play are included with the original game and not these so if you
don’t know how to play then I recommend that you get the original first.
