APATHY YOUTH RECORDS HISTORY
AND FUTURE 
Apathy Youth Records is mainly
a non-profit organization. (what is meant by mainly is that all profits
go back into the bands, recordings and products we make. Because the people
at AYR are members of various bands and because playing music is our main
form of entertainment and pleasure we don't consider AYR a non-profit organization.
Our profit is the fun of playing and recording our bands) We started in
1994 and released TeDiuM's POGO WITH THE TEDIUMS limited at 50 copies (we
are really low budget) on a small 4 track cassette recorder. The following
year with the demise of the TeDiuMs we recorded the UnaBombers self titled,
first release in the newly aquired Apathy Youth Studio(1996). In 1997 we began
work on a Unabombers 2nd release however the band kept changing ( members
and style) so they decided to scrap the project (however we are going to
release it as a bootleg, believe me they won't mind) and start on a new
2nd release. The Molesting Jake guys (formally Tres Annistinos) joined
us after they played a show together with the UnaBombers. They just did
an episode for Jonovision, which is quite funny actually. TEDIUM/Leprosy
is the one man project of Dreos aka Andre Gunslinger aka Johnny Turd aka
the original UnaBomber/TeDiuM drummer. If you are in a band that
is interested in either recording at our
or are interested in being apart of AYR please us and tell us. We will respond, however currently this
is only true for bands around the Toronto area ( this includes most of
Ontario, but we are based in Metro Toronto so the only reason we say around
the TO area is, unless you don't mind commuting, the distance you may need
to travel.) Oh yeah no fascist, racist, homophobic, sexist, ageist etc.

Currently we are in the midst of recording Molesting Jakes first tape.
We are also starting to re-record The UnaBombers 2nd release (too many
problems with these bunch of fuckers oh well). We are also currently trying
to get a hold of Ferris from Defy Authority, we want to remaster their
tape and put it out as well. We will be adding samples of music from each
band and are thinking about adding AVI. to this web page.
