Obviously A Nature Thing

Created in Bryce4, Poser3 and Photoshop. This is the first in my "Naked Women Laying Around On Rocks Series"!!! My girlfriend and "Pixel Sister" Becca has had some interesting experiences lately with learning that the Boolean Object trees are loaded with spheres, which causes the Bryce pieces to render VERY slowly. To avoid that problem I decided that I wanted to create a tree branch, replicate it and position it all around the tree trunk that I'd made. I drew it in the Terrain Editor and then applied a foliage texture to it. Unfortunately, it had a very unnatural look to it. Was cruising around in the MetaCreations website tonight and saw some beautiful pieces painted in the Painter program. Was inspired to get some guts and paint. I mostly used Photoshop's smudge tool to create the sweeping effects that you see in this tree. And of course I painted longer hair and the ears on my little Poser catwoman.
