He's Got The Whole World

Created in Bryce4, Poser2, Photoshop and Xenofex. This was the result of working through another one of Peter Sharpe's excellent Bryce tutorials. The tutorial is about how to create the planet Earth, using an image map, which Peter is kind enough to actually provide for us to download. I was truly amazed at how incredibly simple the exercise turned out to be! The planet was made in Bryce, the hand made in Poser, the background made using the Xenofex Constellation filter in Photoshop.

The timing for following this tutorial was right on time considering the special mood that I was in. I have to take the time here to say that this image is dedicated to a dear friend from work, Darren Tillery. After seeing something very special in him yesterday, I was inspired to create something a bit more on the spiritual side here. My friend is very clearly protected and guided by a loving, powerful hand and I know that he is very blessed. His future can only be bright because of it. Being the friend of Mr. Tillery has done nothing but good for me over the years. (Even if he does believe that there were ALWAYS Pineapple LifeSavers and gives me grief because of it!)

I'd also like to say that I work for a wonderful company, Univest Financial Group. It is full of incredibly good people. We had our company picnic yesterday and I was moved right down to the bone when thinking how much this group of people mean to me. My family used to be a large, close knit group, but for some reason everyone went off into their own separate worlds. There is now a communications problem that's keeping us all from coming back together. Unfortunately, it will probably take a funeral to bring us all together again. But I have considered my coworkers to be my big family now and I'm most grateful to be a part of this group. The whole group is bound by a wonderful spirituality that has touched my life for almost 10 years. I can honestly say that working for this company has saved and changed my life in more ways than one. And finally, I FEEL that our company is destined for wonderful things because of the goodness of the people and their strong faith.
