CASA (Court Ordered Special Advocates) volunteers provide in-depth information to the court regarding children's best interests in abuse and neglect cases in Arapahoe County. Agency recruits, trains, and provides ongoing support for these community volunteers.

Uses family reunification assessment for families where there has been sexual abuse of children and the offender wishes to return home. The program can be used to help reduce the likelihood of additional trauma to victims and prevent future victimization. Also offers recovery information and referral for assault survivors and their families and friends.

Strives to provide competent and caring treatment, as well as educational and advocacy services that are community-based, family-focused, and child-centered. Provides intensive outpatient services, day treatment, and residential treatment.

State organization which advocates for the best interest of neglected and abused children. Supports the development, growth, and continuation of programs which recruit and train volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates for abuses and neglected children in juvenile dependency and family court proceedings.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are volunteers who work with guardian ad litem attorneys in representing an abused/neglected child's best interests to the court. Advocates interview persons involved with the case, see the child/children regularly, and work to get the child/children into a safe, permanent environment as quickly as possible.

Crisis hotline is provided for Denver County residents only. Caller can report physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Also provides help regarding teenage runaways, teenagers beyond control of parents, placement requests, and emergency shelter. Has a youth division.
