In the guise of an old history textbook for schoolchildren, Barry tours American history without much regard to actual fact. If you know anything at all about how our country really took shape, then you'll certainly understand this humor.
I read Dave Barry Slept Here and I laughed so hard I thought that I would die!! Definitely more interesting than a history book!
