JAMES ARROLL was born circa 1741 and died 4^th march 1823 aged 70 years. He is the first son of JOHN ARROL and JANET McAULEY,

James Arroll is buried in Row churchyard. James Arroll was a parochial school master in Row and succeeded his father in1760. He is buried in the south part of the Row Church yard in a grave number 138. It is marked with a table stone (flat stone). There is an inscription in the churchyard at Row indicating that John Arrol, his Father, schoolmaster at Row died on Feb 2 1760 at aged 52. James married to JANET McKINLEY at Row Dumbarton Scotland.
