 It was built in 1388 as a kitchen for the distribution of food to the poor , by the 3rd.Ottoman Sultan MURAT I ,in the name of his mother NILUFER HATUN (Real name HOROFIRA .She is known as the first Christian bride of Ottoman dynasty as the daughter of Yarhisar Prince/Tekfur ).   Pictures in this page were generally taken from outside of the Museum. One of the the most important piece in the museum is; the sarkophagos (sarcophagus) found a few years ago around this area.Below , you can see four sides of this marble sarkophagos.
