On the
other side of the fence there's someone
I need to hold, someone I need to
comfort, but the fence is thick and
cold.
The only penetration is what the eye
can see, and on the other side is
someone needing me.
The pain is stabbing her heart as she
smiles on the other side, holding back
the tears that begin to form in her
eyes.
There's only a fence between us, but
that fence is two worlds apart. And the
only type of comfort is the love inside
our hearts.
On the other side of the fence, is
that someone on the phone, talking to a
man she's missing at home.
On the other side of the fence, the
empty seat is getting cold, as we share
our thoughts of being together, the man
in blue shouts, "it's time to
go".
