Asian Slaw

Makes 8-10 Servings

Ingredients:

2 (3 oz.) pkgs.beef flavored ramen noddle soup mix
2 (8.5 oz.) pkgs. cole slaw mix 1
cups sliced almonds-toasted--you can toast them on a cookie sheet in a 350° oven till nicely golden.
1 cup sunflower kernels (can be salted kind if you like)
1 bunch green onion, chopped
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup white vinegar

Mixing instructions:

Remove beef flavor packets from soup mix and set aside; crush noddles and place in bottom of large bowl. Top with slaw mix; sprinkle with almonds, sunflower kernels, and green onions. Do not mix now.

Whisk together contents from beef flavor packets, sugar, oil, and vinegar. Pour over slaw, almonds, sunflower kernels, and green onions.
Cover and chill for 24 hours.
Toss salad just before serving.
