Adding Sounds to your Posts


If you would like to add sounds to your posts (or to your web pages) here are the "formulas" to use!!!

"Button Style" - The one Betty uses for "Name That Tune Holly (OH)".
  • First select your sound file. Make sure you have permission to link to the site or have it stored on your own site!!!!!
  • Next select the image file to use as the button. Again make sure you have permission to link....
  • Now you have the address (URL) for the sound file and the image, so... type (or copy & paste and make changes to) this command:

    <center> <a href="http://members.tripod.com/bowhunter66/Sounds/1999_1.mid"> <img src="https://www.angelfire.com/ar/cozydenarchives/images/Speaker.gif"> </a><br> Click Speaker </center>
    And you will get this:

    Yep...click the speaker to hear a tune!!!
    Click Speaker


"Embed or Background Style" - The one Betty uses for "Name That Tune ".     It "Auto Plays"!
  • First select your sound file. Make sure you have permission to link to the site or have it stored on your own site!!!!!
  • Now you have the address (URL) for the sound file, so... type (or copy & paste and make changes to) this command:

    <embed src="http://members.tripod.com/bowhunter66/Sounds/31devilingeorgia.mid"> <no embed> <bgsound src="http://members.tripod.com/bowhunter66/Sounds/31devilingeorgia.mid"></no embed>
