1. The right and responsibility of the King or Queen of the Empire is, above all else, the defense of the Kingdom and all its people and its lands with his or her life, and skill. Failure of this will cost the crown.
2. The King or Queen may use any means deemed needful for the betterment of the state, save for removing those most basic of right given by the gods. May the gods defend them that attempt to remove them, for none others wilt.
3. No citizen of the Empire will be imprisoned or put to death without trial, save in the most extreme capital cases qualifying for the Tomes of Dishonor.
4. No citizen of the Empire will be prevented from speaking his mind, save for revealing state secrets, in which case he/she would be tried for treason to the crown.
5. No ruler may force a citizen to commit a breach of honor.
6. Yea, the honored people of Crystal Dragondom, do have the sacred right to pursue happiness. No King nor Queen will intervene in this right save to prevent harm.
7. None may be forced to a position that they do loathe save in time of war or military matters.
8. The people have the right of revolution, a.k.a. mandate of heaven, ONLY, if the ruler is Corrupt and Honorless. The leader of such a revolution may NOT take the crown for him or her self. A new leader must be selected by the people as a whole.
This is the Constitution of the Empire of the Crystal Dragons Clan. Those Sacred Rights may NEVER be removed save by ¾ of the people.
I, King Archos of the Crystal Dragons Clan Empire, and Regent of the Soveriegn Honorable Nation of Camelot, have set these words down in the year of thy Gods, 1998, in the hopes that yea, the citizens of the Crystal Dragons Clan Empire, may keep and protect those sacred rights long after I have been slain and forgotten by the winds of Tyme. Even if I am cast down, may those words remain burned in thy hearts and minds both now, and forever more.
