Alan Jackson ought to sing this one !

Jones On The Jukebox

I was in my favorite diner,
When the juke box man came in.
He had come to count the money,
Said, "the take looks kinda slim."
The cook said "Did you get it,"
Did my C.D. come in yet?"
The Jukebox man kept countin'
just smiled and said "you bet."

He put Jones on the jukebox
and it put you on my mind.
Jones on the jukebox
really took me back in time.
Jones on the jukebox
reminded me of you.
Took me back to those jukebox nights
and when you said we're thru!

Now were livin in the 90's,
Things move way to fast.
He played all 20 hits that day
And I listened till the last.
Thought I'd lost those memories,
When the Lord gave me my wife.
But to here George sing those songs again,
Made me look back thru my life.

He put Jones on the jukebox
And it put you on my mind.
Jones on the jukebox.
Really took me back in time.
Jones on the jukebox
Reminded me of you.
Took me back to those jukebox nights
And when you said we're thru!

He put Jones on the jukebox
And it put you on my mind.
Jones on the jukebox.
Really took me back in time.
Jones on the jukebox
Reminded me of you.
Took me back to those jukebox nights
And when you said we're thru!
Way back to those jukebox nights.
Back to when you said we're thru.
