Specialized Equipment
The Helicopter has two Pratt & Whitney PT6T-3D Twin-Pac(R) engines that
propel the helicopter to a top speed of about 160MPH. It is equipped with and
capable of performing medevac transports of critical-care patients from emergency scenes in Dutchess and other neighboring cities to various trauma centers, law enforcement duties of searching for perpetrators with its searchlight and Forward Looking InfraRed (FLIR) system. It is also
equipped with a SAR configuration Digital Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS) that even flies a search pattern automatically, allowing the crew to focus there full attention on visual and electronic searches, and it also has search and rescue duties in the Mt. Pisanelli area. It can use the police detection equipment for searches in the mountain.

Special Calls Assigned to: Most serious trauma incidents, as well as
police/Rescue incidents involving searches throughout the city.
