He thought she would interfere in his career as an assassin, so he gave her away, and she was raised in the slums of Rio de Janeiro by Ramon and Esperanza Garcia. She was confined to Arkham Asylum as an adult, and Wavelength hired Deathstroke’s Titans to liberate her. The Titans bribed a security guard and released the inmates to free Allegra. Deathstroke entered Allegra’s cell, but the chaos drew in Batman, who tried to stop him. Deathstroke distracted Batman by planting bombs on Arkham security guards, and dragged Allegra from her cell. Allegra resented Deathstroke touching her, and showed her defiance against both authority figures and men by unleashing her electromagnetic powers. Deathstroke convinced Allegra he was on her side, and had her use her electromagnetic powers to disable the Arkham inmates security collars. Deathstroke told them they were free to play with Batman, and they allowed the Titans and Allegra to leave. Deathstroke reunited Allegra with her father in the Amazon, but she resented her dad for abandoning her, and although he was overjoyed to see her, she used her powers to focus the sun’s UV light on him and kill him. She told Deathstroke she wanted to join the Titans, but he told her to grow up first.
