History:  (Hellblazer I #256, 257) - Alu , one of the 64,000 demons of Babylon, served as a guardian for the ekkimu Julian, who was slumming it in England. Julian tricked John Constantine into getting addicted to his boiled skin, and when John went to Julian's to demand an explanation Alu barred his way, and made it clear he was no fan because of John's rivalry with his Babylonian brother Nergal. Julian waived off Alu, allowing John to enter, intending to make him a pawn in his schemes. John used a love potion on Julian, who didn't care about being tricked, because he felt the new pangs of love he felt to be beautifully torturous. Alu wanted to kill John for his mischief, but Julian forbid it.
