History: (Teen Titans III #30, 31) - An eagle's parents were murdered by the Fascist Felines Against Interspecies Activities, and he grew up in an orphanage. As an adult he became the hero American Eagle. Little Cheese was murdered, and crumbs from a super-powered carrot were found at the scene, implicating Captain Carrot. The Zoo Crew reformed to find Cheese's murderer, and American Eagle confronted Rodney Rabbit about the murder. Rabbit was a wreck, still despondent about his fiancée Carrie Carrot’s murder, but Eagle forced him to come out of retirement, and they discovered that Dark Alley, who was posing as Alley-Kat-Abra, was the murderer. American Eagle joined the Zoo Crew, and they went 100 years into the future to rescue Fastback, who'd been sent there by Alley.
