(JSA #50 (fb, BTS)) - Arion made a promise to Kara Zor-El s mother to protect Kara, so he told her a fabricated story about her being his granddaughter who he sent thousands of years into the future.
(Aquaman V #23-25) - Atlan contacted Arion, asking him to find aid in Aquaman's battle against the Hunters, who had designs on Earth. Arion said the situation was something he'd gladly have ignored in the past, but admitted times had changed. The Hunters launched their attack against each city of Atlantis, but were repelled by Aquaman, Arion and their crew of heroes. The heroes were unable to save the Atlantean city Brasil, destroyed in another assault. The Hunters went to Washington and offered humanity a golden age, but Aquaman exposed their plan to harrow humanity to achieve their end goal, and the Hunters left Earth after being rejected.
(JSA #50) - Mordru possessed Arion's body and displaced his soul. Mordru put Arion s soul in a mystical prison in Gemworld. Arion s soul was freed by Power Girl, Hawkgirl and Dove. Arion revealed to Power Girl that he was not actually her grandfather, and told her that when she met her mother it would be her responsibility to reveal Power Girl s true origins. Arion decided it was high past time he entered the afterlife and joined his deceased family in the great beyond. His soul entered his body, still controlled by Mordru, briefly before passing on. Arion told Power Girl in advance that this would leave Mordru vulnerable, and a perfect time to defeat him.
(Day of Vengeance: Infinite Crisis Special #1) - The Shadowpact summoned Arion and a number of other sorcerers to Gotham City so they could reconstruct the shattered Rock of Eternity and capture the Seven Deadly Sins that had been freed because of the Rock's destruction.
