History: <25 years ago> Earth was left barely inhabitable by warfare, so the Atari Technology and Research Institute sent Atari Force to find a new planet for humanity to live on. The team consisted of Dr. Lucas Orton, Martin Champion, Li-San O'Rourke, Lydia Perez, and Mohandas Singh. They succeeded and dubbed their find New Earth.

When the Dark Destroyer threatened New Earth Martin Champion reformed Atari Force. The new team consisted of Babe, Dart, Martin Champion, Morphea, Pakrat, Taz and Tempest. After defeating the Destroyer the Force remained active to combat other threats to the universe.
