Powers: Bekka was an accomplished healer. Like all the New Gods she was extraordinarily long-lived.

History: (DC Graphic Novel #4) - Bekka was the daughter of Himon, who engineered underground attacks on Darkseid. He shielded his daughter so Darkseid wouldn’t know of her existence, and also because she knew the power of love, an alien idea on Apokolips. Orion was gunned down by Darkseid’s troops, and Himon and Bekka nursed him back to health. Orion and Bekka confessed their love for each other, and he revealed his true grotesque face to her. She was unphased because she knew his heart. Darkseid’s rule crumbled under a Hunger Dog revolt, and massive explosions caused by his Micro-Mark tore apart Apokolips. In the confusion Orion and Bekka saved Orion’s mother Tigra from captivity, and they fled on a spaceship, although Himon was seemingly killed in the getaway.
