History:  (100 Bullets #20) - Benito Medici was a member of the Trust, the 13 most rich and powerful families in America. Benito met with Mister Shepherd in Washington Square, and said his father was furious after learning Agent Graves was alive, having made a play on the life of Megan Dietrich. Shepherd said he had no idea how Graves could have survived Atlantic City, and revealed that Cole Burns and Lono were also still breathing. Medici suggested they take away Graves connections that let him play his game, giving wronged people a dossier on who wronged them, and briefcase with an untraceable gun and bullets. but Shepherd said that would mean war, and asked Benito to let him handle things his way. He reminded Benito that one day he'd head the Trust. Benito didn't want the responsibility, and disliked the fact that every choice in his life was made for him. Shepoherd said they had to wait for Graves to play his hand again, and he believed that his rigerous code on conduct, including always telling the truth, would be his undoing.

(100 Bullets #23, 24) - Augustus Medici called a meeting of the Trust in Atlantic City after learning from Mr. Shepherd that in addition to Agent Graves, Cole Burns of the Minutemen was still alive. Benito Medici met with Megan Dietrich, and she told him to stop trying to act like Shepherd and looking at him like a father figure. She said he wasn't cut out to be a tough guy, and he was better off learning from Augustus than one of his soldiers. They met Daniel Peres at the pool, and Peres worried that Benito didn't appreciate the vision of his father. Benito asked him why Augustus tried to eliminate the Minutemen, and Peres said it was for the good of the Trust and advancing their success and money gains. Augustus arrived with bodyguard Crete, and greeted his son. The previous day Benito played a private card game, and was almost beaten by Hank Kowalski, who desperately needed the money, but raised the stakes far beyond what he could play, forcing him to fold his hand, which was probably a winner. Hank was stalking Benito, and Cole Burns was observing him, happily telling him Benito's room number. Benito played poker at the casino, and Megan was annoyed that he wasn't paying attention to her; telling him he was off his game. Mia Simone arrived, and took Peres, Benito and Megan out to dinner. August partied with a prostitute, and couldn't help but brag about the power he wielded. Megan flirted with Benito, but he didn't trust her. Mister Shepherd contacted Benito for a private meeting.

(100 Bullets #25) - Once the 13 families arrived Augustus began the meeting, reminding everyone of how the Minutemen was created to keep them in check, to make sure no family turned against the other. He said they once they started trusting each other the Minutemen became obsolete, and an impediment to their success. Javier Vasco felt the Minutemen had been necessary, and Augustus knew he felt that way because the group once settled a bloody dispute between his family and that of Axe Nagal, but assured him they were no longer needed. He denied that Graves and any other surviving Minutemen were a threat, and Daniel Peres told him Graves would come after him first because they'd once been close friends. Peres got a call, and said he had urgent business to attend to, but since he insisted on leaving the meeting Augustus told Megan Dietrich to accompany him. She complied, but left him when she saw Benito Medici on a gambling binge. Hank Kowalski was waiting for Benito in his room with a gun, demanding the money he felt was stolen from him. Benito said the house had his money, and was allowed to retrieve it while Hank kept Megan hostage. Benito upset Megan by telling Hank to shoot her if he saw him try anything funny. He got the money and said Hank could take it, or gamble $100,000 of Benito's money on the upcoming Pacers gang. Hank went with the gambling option and left. Megan thought he'd manipulated Hank since Benito's favorite was the Lakers in order to utterly destroy him. Benito disappointed her by saying he was betting oin the Lakers for Hank so he could get the money he needed.

Benito disappointed her by saying he was betting on the Lakers for Hank so he could get the money he needed. Peres' threat was given at the command of Agent Graves, who wanted to make sure he did as promised. Graves introduced him to Cole, thanked him, and then stabbed him to death.

(100 Bullets #36) - Benito attended a gala thrown by Megan after she acquired a 16th century painting depicting the founding of the Trust.

(100 Bullets #39) - Augustus fed his pet alligators, and told Crete to fetch his car. He was surprised to see his son up early, but Benito said he'd just gotten home from a long night of partying. Augustus was going to Little Havana, and Benito wanted to accompany him, no to see how he did business, but to get some coffee. Crete drove them, and Augustus said he wanted Benito to show he was capable of responsibility. Benito said he wanted nothing to do with responsibility, and Augustus replied that while he'd never want for anything in life he still felt it was his duty as a father that his son could look after himself. Benito said that was Crete's job, and hopped out of the car, ending the conversation. He spent his time at the cafe drinking coffee and hitting on a young woman while Augustus played dominos with some local friends. Augustus met with Shepherd, saying he hadn't been able to learn anything from Graves, making his boss suspicious. He reminded Shepherd he was giving him a lot of leeway allowing him to handle Graves his own way. Shepherd said he'd changed his mind because the peace among the Trust was in jeopardy. He'd spotted five hitmen, and when they made him they backed off. He reasoned someone in the Trust hired them, because anyone Graves hired would not have back down from him. Augustus panicked when he realized his son was in danger, and they rushed to find him. The hitmen shot the girl Benito was talking to, splattering him in blood, but Shepherd gunned down the hitmen before they could hurt him. Augustus demanded Benito egt in the car with him and go home, and Benito said it was the right time for his father to teach him how to run the Trust.

(100 Bullets #60-63) - Benito and Augustus bet on a game of tennis, and when Benito lost his temper flared and he wanted to go double or nothing. Augustus said his game was decent but his instincts were poor. Crete informed them that Megan had arrived at the Delano hotel, and Augustus told his son to get ready for business. Crete drove them to the Calder stakes, where Augustus had a horse in the race. Benito wanted to gamble on the race, and Augustus growled that he better not think about betting against his horse. Benito went to place his bet, and Graves showed up in the stable. Benito went to see Megan, and she was impressed that he'd finally opened his eyes as to what his father could make him, so she invited him out for drinks at a haute nightclub. Benito still wanted to know why she was in town, and Megan said some houses were not happy with the restructuring of the Trust. The Trust also feared war with the Minuteman after the deaths of Daniel Peres, Anwar Madrid, and Mr. Shepherd. They went to Augustus', where he cooked them dinner. Megan suspected Javier Vasco of conspiring with Graves, because he feared the rise of the Medici house, and revealed that Cole Burns had given her a cryptic warning about other houses moving against the Medicis. Benito thought Cole couldn't be trusted, and had a feeling they were being played. Megan agreed, but said she still knew who her enemies were, and they had to find out which one was trying to manipulate them for their own ends. Megan said her house would stand with the Medicis, and Augustus had a few final plans to make with her, but asked Benito to leave. He told Benito he was not ready to be involved in a civil war, so he would stay out of it. Benito was angry, but acquiesced. Augustus met with Graves, who reminded him that if they carried out their plan, there was no turning back.

(100 Bullets #67) - Dizzy went to Mexico to get away from everyone and everything. She lived in a shack in the wilderness, getting drunk and shooting bottles. Wylie realized he had strong feelings for her, and decided to track her down with the help of Mik Kuchenko. He knew it was a crazy and stupid idea, but couldn't help himself. Mr. Branch and Benito Medici had both come to Mexico looking for Dizzy as well, and Benito knew she'd killed his role model Mr. Shepherd. Benito threw around money, showing her picture, and Mik said he'd help. They spotted Branch staring forlornly at Dizzy's photo, and Mik knocked him out and put him in his car. Mik drove them to the desert and told Wylie that if he wanted to be alone with Dizzy he'd have to take care of the two of them.

(100 Bullets #76) - Branch took Benito to a cockfight, and surprised him by cleaning him out. Dizzy still couldn't forgive herself for Shepherd's death, even though Wylie didn't hold her responsible, and she was giving serious thought to killing Graves. Wylie called Graves up, telling him to stay away from her. Lono and the Minutemen were partying at a motel when Wylie called Victor, telling him he was with Dizzy, and Victor quickly told Lono, who wanted her dead.

(100 Bullets #77-79) - Lono called Megan Dietrich, who'd learned of Mia Simone's death, and her attempt to put him in his place were met with vulgarity. He knew Augustus was pleased that another Trust house was gone, even though Graves was responsible, and said to keep up appearances as warlord he was going to Mexico to find Graves, knowing he wouldn't be there. Lono and the rest of the Minutemen made their way south of the border, and all of them were howling for Dizzy's blood. Cole told Graves he had no problem taking out Dizzy and Wylie if they wouldn't go with Graves' plan, and Graves said he wanted Wylie to go with them willingly. Wylie was a natural leader according to him, but Cole was his right hand man because he actually trusted him. Wylie told Mr. Branch the Minutemen were coming, and they could use Benito Medici as bait. Graves sent Wylie's old friend Kuchenko and his criminal friends against Wylie, who killed every one of them in a hail of gunfire.Wylie talked to Dizzy, asking her if she missed her family, but she was firmly focused on killing Graves for forcing her to do something she'd never do of her own free will. Victor arrived at their place ahead of the other Minutemen, saying Wylie could use a friend. Victor and Wylie had a sit-down about why Graves and Shepherd had chosen Lono as the Trust's new warlord. Victor said Lono was perfect because he'd never had any true allegiances, and told Wylie how Lono had him and Loop shoot but not kill Megan Dietrich so Lono would be needed by the Medicis. Wylie resolved to have a talk with Graves, and Victor promised to keep Dizzy, Branch and Benito safe. Wylie told Branch the plan was still on, and as soon as he left Victor announced he had a job to do, and none of them were safe. He threatened to execute them and asked Branch for a beer. Branch found a handgun in the beer cooler and pointed it at Victor. Wylie met Graves, Cole and Remi, who were disappointed in him for not bringing Dizzy. He claimed Graves was working for the Trust, believing an old lie, and was involved with Dizzy because of a mistake he'd made long ago. Remi didn't want to hear his elaborations and shot him dead. Branch couldn't shoot Victor, who cut one of his fingers off before brutalizing Dizzy and Benito. He left Benito behind for Lono, Loop and Jack to find, and drove off with Diz and Branch.

(100 Bullets #80) - Lono took Benito to a cheap motel and locked him in an adult booth, demanding to know why he was alive. He said Graves would probably kill his father, and Lono would probably kill Graves, but Benito should have been out of the picture the moment he met Wylie. Victor delivered Dizzy to Graves, who said he wanted a private conversation with her. Victor was not pleased with Remi for killing Wylie, and when he protested that Wylie had drawn a weapon Victor said Wylie was a better shot than him, and if he'd wanted to kill Remi he'd be dead. Branch was only being kept alive as leverage against Wylie, so Victor told Cole to clean up his mess. Cole got Branch alone, and said he should have gone to Italy when he had the chance. Graves told Dizzy, who reiterated that she was going to kill him, that Shepherd and Wylie had died not to protect her, but to keep the two of them apart. After a longer conversation Graves introduced Dizzy to Victor, Cole and Remi as the newest Minuteman.

(100 Bullets #85) - Crete trained in the gym with Benito, and told him he was not acting like the heir to the house of Medici. He'd guessed that Benito ran away because of a woman, and told him to tell Augustus, saying he'd understand. Augustus prepared a lamb roast for Benito and Megan, hoping Benito would remember a fond childhood activity, but he was distant and abrasive. Megan and Augustus were planning to be married, and he sniped at her while she fired back at him for being immature and feeling threatened. Benito harped on taking the Minutemen more seriously after the fall of the house of Rhone and said they needed to be meaner than their former protectors.

(100 Bullets #90) - Benito spied on his father and Megan in bed, and when Megan awoke she closed the door on him. Benito met with Lono, sayimng he wanted to celebrate his father's upcoming marriage with something special, bringing him one of the Minutemen. Lono asked alive or dead, and Benito said one alive and one dead. Lono reminded him not to treat him like hired help or he'd regret it, as Benito hadn't paid for his loyalty.

(100 Bullets #91, 92) - Former Minuteman Will Slaughter killed Mr. Rothstein, a man with connections to the CIA and FBI that supplied Graves with his attaches of 100 untraceable bullets. Slaughter informed D'arcy that Graves game was over, and they'd see how he'd react. Augustus was furious, and called Javier, suspecting him of the hit. Javier said he was happy to see Graves' power taken away, but he wasn't the one responsible.

(100 Bullets #96-100) - Lono delivered a Minuteman to Benito, and when Crete wanted to see who he had Lono told him to back off. When Benito found he had Dizzy beaten and bloody he was furious, and shot Lono in the face. The injured Lono fled, and Crete organized his men to find him, while Benito tended to Dizzy's wounds. Lono ran from the Medici compound, and suffered several dog bites, but made it over the wall and to freedom. Megan, Tibo and D'arcy arrived at the Medici compound to broker a peace, and Benito said he wasn't going to be in on the meeting on his father's orders. He checked in on Dizzy to see how she was recuperating, and she said she wished his aim was better, because Lono being alive worried her. Victor, Cole, Jack and Loop buried Echo in the swamp, with the Trust's painting wrapped around her body, and decided to crash the Trust's meeting, and Lono had the same idea. The Trust took Augustus' vote away, so he resigned as head of his family, giving it to Benito. The Trust demanded Graves step down as head of the Minutemen, but said he could pick his replacement. He balked, but came around when they offered him the former house of Vasco and a membership in the Trust. Benito relaxed in the pool and was approached by Megan, who said her engagement with Augustus was off, and tried to seduce him. Megan strangled Benito to death, and when Crete found his body Graves named Dizzy as the new head of the Minutemen and told her to investigate. The Minutemen stormed the compound, killing dozens of security. Jack Daw and Crete fought, with the battle spilling over into Augustus' alligator pond. Cole stabbed Tibo and strangled D'arcy to death, filled a room with gasoline, and waited for Megan. Lono ambushed Graves, but Dizzy shot him a number of times, and he fell out the window. Graves talked to Augustus, realizing he planned for the Trust to murder his son and Dizzy to kill the other heads so the only ones standing would be him and Graves. Graves shot Augustus dead, and the shot surprised Cole, who dropped his lighter, blowing up both himself and Megan. Dizzy said Graves moved against another member of the Trust and pulled her gun. Graves said Augustus was the one who ruined his life, compromising his principles, but allowing him to pass those principles on to others, and he pointed Dizzy's gun at his own head.
