Powers: As a New God Barda was virtually immortal and possessed superhuman strength, speed and endurance. She was an expert in armed and unarmed combat, and wielded a Mega-Rod that bolts of energy and allowed her to fly.

History: 

(Earth 2 #11) - When Darkseid invaded the parallel world Earth 2 Mr. Miracle and Big Barda escaped captivity. and spent a year on the run, ending up hiding in Gotham City. Steppenwolf had been stranded on Earth 2 since Darkseid’s failed invasion, and after learning of Miracle and Barda’s whereabouts he ordered his emissary Fury to fetch them.
