History: (Superman: The Man of Steel #7, 8) - Cerberus empowered the cyborgs Jolt and Blockhouse. Blockhouse quickly fell for Jolt and was attracted to her dominant persona. Cerberus assigned them to trail and kidnap Lois Lane. She would be used as bait to lure in Superman; Cerberus wanted the hero dead for his past interference in his plans. Blockhouse was all to ready to snatch Lois, but Jolt convinced him to hold back until they knew her routine and were ready for a confrontation with Superman. When they were ready they kidnapped Lois Lane and hypnotized her with a mind-control collar. Superman defeated the villains, but the mesmerized Lois put a collar around Superman's neck. He was losing his will, but dove into the ocean, and the salt water shorted out the collar. Lois questioned Brickhouse, realizing how easily he responded to the commanding tone of a woman, but as he was about to spill his guts Cerberus remotely shut down his mind to keep him from snitching.
