Powers: The Bogus-Men are superhumanly strong and fast, but they need to be recharged by a machine to keep their power at peak levels. If they are entirely cut off from their power supply they will cease to operate.

History: (Plastic Man vol. 2 #12)-The mad Dr. Honctoff created the Bogus-Men to fulfill his dream of taking over the world. The Bogus-Men raided a number of top-secret N.B.I. research facilities to steal a stomach-ache virus culture. Plastic Man I was put on the case, but failed to catch the little buggers. Plastic Man eventually tracked down Dr. Honctoff’s laboratory and found the Bogus-Men assembling a ray device that would give everyone in the world a stomach-ache. Plastic Man ended the menace of the Bogus-Men by pulling the plug on the machine that was powering them, and Dr. Hontoff was carted off to jail.
