Powers: Boodikka was a fierce and unrelenting warrior, and like other members of her race she was long-lived, being over 300 years old. As a Green Lantern, Boodikka wielded a power ring capable of doing almost anything she could imagine as long as it was recharged by his emerald power battery once every 24 hours. Examples of its' powers include flight, phasing, creating giant objects formed of energy, and force fields.History: Boodikka was a member of the woman warrior clan the Bellatrix Bombers before being inducted into the Corps. When Hal Jordan was infected by Parallax they chose her to defend the Central power Battery from him. Hal cut off her left hand and left her for dead.
(Green Lantern IV #3) - Boodikka and a number
of other Green Lanterns had not really perished at Green Lantern’s hand, but
ended up in the clutches of the Manhunters.
(Green
Lantern: Sinestro Corps Special #1) - Boodikka and the Lost Lanterns were on Oa
when the planet was assaulted by the Sinestro Corps. After a valiant fight many
Green Lanterns were killed, and the Sinestro Corps fled with sciencell prisoners
Superboy Prime and Cyborg Superman as their newest recruits.
(Green Lantern IV #22) - The Lost Lanterns traveled to Qward to retrieve Ion, and found Hal Jordan being overwhelmed by the Sinestro Corps. Parallax told Hal that the GLC despised him and had abandoned him, but Ke’Haan said that although they hated Hal they’d never abandon a fellow Lantern. Boodikka, however, was convinced that Hal was still a traitor and secretly in league with the Sinestro Corps. Parallax killed Jack T. Chance, and when Boodikka tried to use lethal force her ring shut down. Hal and the remaining Lost Lanterns retreated to Qward’s underground catacombs. They split up, with Ke’Haan and his allies attempting to locate the imprisoned Ion, while Hal was joined by Graf Toren and Tomar-Tu in rescuing Guy and John Stewart. They found their comrades, but were confronted by Lyssa Drak, keeper of the Book of Parallax, who was in the process of breaking their friends and making them give in to fear.
(Green Lantern Corps II #15, Green Lantern IV #23) - Boodikka and the Lost Lanterns searching for Ion were halted by the Anti-Monitor. The Anti-Monitor incinerated Lost Lantern Ke’Haan, but the remaining Lanterns fought hard against him, and managed to free Ion. The Lost Lanterns saved Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner and John Stewart from Sinestro and Parallax, and returned to the positive-matter universe, returning Ion to Oa. The Guardians foresaw the Blackest Night prophecy coming to pass with the rise of the Sinestro Corps, and did the unthinkable, rewriting the Book of Oa. The first of their ten new laws stated that the Corps power rings were authorized to use lethal force against the Sinestro Corps, and with that Boodikka’s power ring went back online.
(Green
Lantern IV #24, Green Lantern Corps II #17) - Boodikka and the GLC arrived on
Earth to fend off the Sinestro Corps invasion of the planet. Dozens of Sinestro
Corps soldiers were slaughtered across the planet, but the Lost Lanterns were
recalled to NYC, where the Anti-Monitor had arrived on Earth, seeking to control
the multiverse by controlling the planet.
