Powers: Bronc was a savage fighter who possessed superhuman strength and was equipped with a bionic left hand. He was a passable mambo player.History: (Lobo: Death and Taxes #1-4) - After Lobo left Ramona’s Bail bonds she needed a new bounty hunter, so she employed Bronc, who reminded her of Lobo. His savage fury, willingness to tackle any job, and love of booze and women made him something of a Lobo knock-off. He was also an aspiring mambo-king, and shared his passion with Ramona. They started dating, and Ramona thought they were in love, but he was just stringing her along so he could embezzled six million ccreds from her bail bond business. He disappeared with the money and went on the road performing mabo. Ramona sent several bounty hunters after him, but they came back in bodybags, so she called in her favor from lobo. The Interstellar Revenue Cartel was about to seize her business, so she told him to get the money back from Bronc and kill him. Bron and his Mambo Mayhem Revue played the Seven Cluster Quadrant Civic Center, entertaining the crowd with their music, and slaughtering them with their firearms. Mr. Mortis of the I.R.C. approached Bronc, telling him that Lobo was after him, and that he could do the I.R.C. a great favor by eliminating Lobo, who’d never paid taxes in his life. Although Bronc was itching for a fight, Mortis just wanted him to act as bait while the I.R.C. collected Lobo, and he promised Bronc not to tax him on the money he stole from Ramona. Lobo fell into their trap, but killed Bronc by spitting a loogie at him that pierced his brain. Lobo escaped his bondage and took Bronc’s body with him on a stolen I.R.C. ship. Lobo used a neural storage service to retrieve Broc’s memories, finding that he’d hidden Ramona’s money under an alias hidden in Ramona’s own computer system. Lobo was pleased, and dutifully ripped off Bronc’s head and kicked it to the curb.
